By using Rotation, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. We tried to keep this short.
1. Who we are
Rotation is operated by Rotation, Inc. ("we," "us"). Questions: legal@tryrotation.app.
2. Your account
You must be at least 17 years old to use Rotation. You're responsible for keeping your login secure. One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone.
3. What you can put in your journal
Anything you want, within reason. It's your private space. You own your content. By storing it with us (in encrypted form), you grant us only the technical rights needed to sync and back up your ciphertext.
4. What you can't do
- Use Rotation to harass, dox, or threaten anyone.
- Upload content that's illegal, infringes someone's rights, or sexually explicit material involving anyone who hasn't consented.
- Reverse engineer the app or attempt to break the encryption for other users.
- Scrape, bot, or otherwise abuse the service.
- Post other people's private photos in Pods without their permission. See the Community Guidelines.
5. Subscriptions
Rotation has a free tier and optional paid tiers. Subscriptions renew automatically via the App Store or Google Play. Manage or cancel in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google per their policies.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
7. Disclaimers
Rotation is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the app will be bug-free or uninterrupted. The AI text decoder is a tool for reflection, not a therapist, lawyer, or fortune teller. Don't make life decisions solely based on its output.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Arbitration
Disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, not in court and not as a class action — except where prohibited by law or where you opt out within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms by emailing legal@tryrotation.app.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
